This treatment improves the wood in several important ways. Thermowood is more dimensionally stable than untreated timber, meaning it is less likely to swell, crack, shrink, or react dramatically to changing humidity levels. It also does not secrete sap or resin in high heat. The process improves resistance to rot and fungi, enhances insulation performance, and extends the lifespan of the wood — all while remaining environmentally friendly, as it is produced without chemicals using timber sourced from well-managed, PEFC-certified forests.

The RAVN S features 42 mm (1.65") thick solid wood walls, providing excellent structural stability and dependable heat retention for a consistent sauna session. The roof is designed for outdoor durability and is compatible with PVC / EPDM roofing for reliable weather protection. Roofing is available as an add-on, or customers may choose to apply their own preferred waterproofing solution.
Comfortable Interior with Multi-Level Benching
Despite its compact footprint, the RAVN S offers an interior volume of approximately 4.0 m³ (141 ft³), creating a bright and comfortable sauna environment. The interior is designed with multi-level benching to help bathers enjoy different heat zones, while the 450 mm (17.7") upper bench provides a supportive space for full-body relaxation. A lower step makes access to the upper bench easy and practical.
The large glazed front and tempered glass door bring natural light into the sauna, helping the interior feel more open while maintaining a clean, premium appearance. This glass-forward design gives the RAVN S a spacious feel that goes beyond its exterior footprint.
